I have an emachines M5405 laptop that I've had for 7 years now, and it's on its last leg. I plan on doing a complete rebuild, because for one, I love the case, the size, and all that, but it needs new internals. When I use it, it has a bad tendency to get hot fast, and it will cut off after a while. What could be causing it to do this, and how should I go about fixing this problem until I can replace some parts?
