    Notebook Turns off...not a fan problem help?

    I saw the other threads of how common it is for an emachine to turn off. I dont think its like the other problems. If i touch the area on the left side of the touch pad under the keyboard too hard it turns off. Ive tested it a lot of times and im positive thats the problem. I can last a while with touching it lightly but sometimes you just forget and you lose what you were doing on the notebook. Quite annoying! Ive tried their customer support they seriously need to improve that they dont know that they are doing. Has anyone heard of this before? Where should I go from here?

    RMA it if it is under Warranty, otherwise find a good repair facility, or if you dare, try to fix it yourself (there are some excellent instructions on dis-assembling them).
