    Hello All,
I have a friends emachine W340UA laptop that has lost sound. The audio driver that is in question, according to the device manager is the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. I found what I thought was the correct driver at Version Tracker site, but the link is broken.

I've tried the Gateway FTP site, but I don't have a user id or password to access the site. If someone here knows with the general public userid/password, I'd be greatly appreciated.

My friend doesn't have the original CD so I am hoping someone can point me to an alternate site.

    Thanks,
    Greg
