    M68xx with Radeon 9800?

    Anyone know if this is in the works? Thinking of upgrading my 6805 at some point with new version while upgrading the RAM (PC3200), hard drive (7200). Also miss not having a DVDRW... Before jumping in, would far prefer to have the current ATI technology

    u cant upgrade the Video on the 68xx series it is soldered on the motherboard Emachines may plan to upgrade it, but i dont see it happening until later.

    In this case, current tech is still the ATI MR 9700. Only a select few have the 9800, and all are by Dell (at the time of this posting). The 9600 is actually still prefered by mobile specialists, as it consumes less power and still gives excellent performance.

    The GPU is not upgradable in this case, but the system will run pretty much any game or app you can think of, including Doom 3.
