    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?j=1&CategoryID=cat01174&id=1083714672147&skuId=6717939&type=product&cmp=KA14525&ref=16&loc=01

try that out, if that dosen't work here's what you do...
go to the emachines site, then on top click the Products tab then scroll to where to buy. After that select Best Buy, it will bring up a list of products at bestbuy. its on the list on the right click the button that says "buy now" that will take you there.

That emachines model M6811 looks good and at a reasonable price. The only improvement over the 6809 that I can see is a faster cpu. That narrows my choices to either the M6809 or Acer Aspire AS2012WLMi http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=34-115-116&depa=0 . I like the Acer because of the radeon 9700 card, and from what I've read about it is definitly better than the 9600 in the emachine model. http://www6.tomshardware.com/mobile/20040203/index.html I was looking for an Athlon 64 cpu but decided that battery life is more important than sheer speed. The only Low Power AMD 64 I can find is in the ferrari 3200, but that model is a liitle too much cash for me. Also purchasing thru bestbuy.com they get you for sales tax (which is 8.9% in WA.) even though the M6809 has $250 dollars in rebates it still comes out to over $1500. Now I have been keeping an eye on the compaq and HP AMD 64 models, There pretty cheap but have a crappy video card (geforce 420-440). I've been really doing my homework on laptops and I am still having second thoughts on either models, but come monday I'm definitly going to purchase one of the above.

I understand your problem my budget was 1500 and I wanted an AMD 64 computer for the power but the compaq/HP models do have bad video cards on them. The acer 3200 is also to much for me and I have looed at the Acer but I didn't find it till after I got this machine which I am happy with, its built very solid! I could do a return but I think for the money I have to speed this is a really good fit for me and I'm a little more confident in the compaq brand then I am with Acer. Good luck with yours thought, with the ones you mentioned I really don't think you can go wrong.

I hope it turns out good for you, and stays in good shape. I've really been thinking about returning mine to go the M6811 but I just worry about the quality because I feel very safe with my compaq but I don't have that same feeling with the emachines, I also thing the 64MB video memory will slightly hurt my performance in FPS's. An the hard drive is slower [V] and it cost more [V]
