I like using Roxio Drag-to-Disc to move data between my desktop at work and my M6811 at home or on the road. Since I find the speed of the 1x-4x CD-RWs I have been using for years pretty slow, I would like to use media that utilize the drive in my M6811 to its full potential: according to specs it is supposed to be 4x with 10x USRW and the label on the door says "high speed" so I doubt it is an ultra speed drive. The high speed CD-RWs I could find so far are Memorex 12x 700Mb, and I cannot get them read or formatted on the M6811. What kind of CD-RWs are you guys using to get the 10x speed out of your M6811s?

I would start by find out what drive is in there now and finding the supported media list for that drive and using those discs.

I use Memorex 12x on my 6805 LSC-24082K drive. They worked fine out of the box (no need to format) and work at 8x (the drive limit). Haven't tried the Roxio software, I use Nero and uLead Movie factory with them.

    First PC = Vic-20, 8" 128KB Home-Brew Floppy Drive ... Current Rig = eMachines m6805 ... Quantum Leap?

I got one to work in Creator Classic on the M6811, but I definitely prefer the drag to disc convenience. Is anyone else using this?
