    Hello everyone
So i recently purchased an 6809 as an extra laptop around the house but i am having a problem with the wireless. I have a dlink G network set up with two other computers. The other laptop, sony pcg is using a dlink pci card and work great, never drops a conection and has very good signal strength. After haveing the 6809 for two days, it has very poor signal strength and drops the connection often as well as only showing a connection of "b" 11mbps. I have looked for new driver, thinking that could have something to do with it, but i havent been able to find anything. any help would be greatly appreciated!

I had many problems about a year ago with DLink access points and non-DLink wireless adapters. Eventually I gave up fighting with it and bought a Linksys WRT54G. Works flawlessly with every adapter I've tried. (Probably not the answer you want, but it's only one I have :( )

Go to D-Link's website and see if there's a new firmware revision available for your AP. There probably is. I have a fairly new D-Link AP and it's working fine with my HP notebook that has the same Broadcom wireless chip your M6809 does.
