    Hi,
New to this place but seems to be a good place to ask. I got a M6809 off Ebay and it didnt come with any software...drivers...etc. No problem as I have 3 copies of Windows XP that I have purchased. Both Pro and Home. Anyway, I formated to get rid of all the crap that was on it but my volume keys and stuff dont work. Didnt check them before I formatted so I dont even know if they worked before or not. Are there drivers you need to make these keys work? Sorry if it sounds stupid.

Is your sound card installed properly. If not you can get the drivers here. http://www.arima.com.tw/ViewSupport.asp?View=71 Don't worry, your eMachine is actually an Arima so these are the right drivers. You probalby need the Broadcom Drivers for the wireless too.

The little note key should open up windows media player and if you hit both the volume keys at once it should mute it. That is the default after the sound card is installed. I believe you can change the shortcut keys with Tweak UI.
