    Hi,
I have a M6805 that I upgraded to xp pro with no problems. I did a clean install with one ntfs partition and most of the original drivers from the cd. It's working great with no bsod. I didn't install the amd cpu drivers because they are only for identification of the cpu and do not provide any performance value.[ :(] I am using the default MS driver for the cpu. I installed the PowerNow as per Orion's instructions and also downloaded the PowerNow DashBoard program from Amd's website to make sure the cpu was stepping right and my processor says it's a 1800 and not a 700. The mislabeling problem is just that, a miss label of the speed but the processor does perform as it should. So, if you have the 700 GHz label for your processor don't fret it still working as an 1800 GHz. It's just the AMD cpu driver thinks itÂ’s a 700 GHz. Get the DashBorad program from here: http://www.amd.com/us-en/Corporate/VirtualPressRoom/0,,51_104_857_964,00.html
