I would benefit from this as well. I installed XP SP2 and it caused a booting problem. I tried to repair the installation and now my video card, wireless internet, modem, and the "standard game port" are not functioning. If anyone could tell me where to find these drivers -- or even what devices they truly are, I would appreciate it. Especially since emachines isn't being helpful at all.

To whom it may concern that might need information on this computer.
I recently came in contact with the M2350 eMachine notebook computer and was sorely pressed to fix this machine as I had no Service Disks that came with the machine. I had to use SiSoft Sandra 2005 and look under PCI Bus properties to locate the hardware identification on these devices which was a piece of the puzzle to locate the drivers for things in it.
What it came down to was the Ethernet driver is refurbished or renamed HP parts requiring an HP driver. I had to locate the drivers on thier pages using a search engine for the BCM440x 10/100 Ethernet Drivers. The link to this driver for the built in Ethernet driver for the M2350 I had is located http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/Compaqtabletpc/us/download/20166.html
However; this driver worked on THIS version of the M2350, but with that said, it is not unlikely for the other types of this model computer to have different junker refabbed parts in it. This thing has no uniform devices within it, such as the Modem being an Agere Industries chip set but it is made by Acer Inc. The devices are not to be taken as the same universally and I would suggest getting SiSoft to identify if the devices are what they are before you download any drivers.
I got the video to work for this particular model running an ATI Modility U1 series video card. This device was labled under some cryptic, hard to find webpage on ATI's site that said this device is a Radeon IGP 320M display adapter (Ingtergrated Graphics Processor). I could find no driver for this thing that actually said this is the driver needed, and I had to tell the machine to try to use the driver even when Windows said it might mess everything up; I risked it and it worked like a charm and runs very smooth; perhaps it isn't hard gaming ready, but it certainly improved over all image and webpage smoothness in scrolling, etc. Use at your own risk on any given M2350 as the video driver inside might not be the exact one inside of this M2350, but it could work:

I have as yet to find any Modem drivers or Sound drivers for this M2350 eMachine computer. I hunted all over for any Modem driver that might function but all failed. It says that it is an Agere Systems AC'97 Modem, but no Agere drivers for an AC'97 series work, and no Lucent Industries, which was apparently what Agere used to be called, or Acer drivers work with the device, or at least none I have encountered so far. I am still hunting for drivers that will work with this Modem with the OEM Device Name Acer Labs Incporporated (ALi) Agere Systems AC'97 Modem and the Device Name Arima Computer Co Agere Systems AC'97 Modem. Don't waste your time with Arima, they have a crappy net presence and are one of those companies that pours out tech parts like swill but doesn't have any support of their parts without over complicated channels and short duration Account passwords.
If anyone can drop me an email at [email protected] or a message on AIM at Fayruyan for information on any other drivers for this computer, please do so, as I would be greatly appreciative. Also feel free to drop me any questions about this computer or drivers and I will do what I can to help anyone with what I have gotten done so far.
Best future advice; avoid eMachine computers if you can help it, or at least have those serivice disks on hand!

I also do not have restore disks for the M2350.
I tried to buy them from emachines, but they are "out of stock".
Here is some info I got from the tech support:
"
This may sound frustrating, however, the device driver is not available
for FTP downloading. It can only be located on the Restore CD. Usually
they are sent out through FedEx and can take 3-5 business days to
arrive, depending on availability. Since there is no stock available at
this moment, you may consider searching online for these drivers. Below
is the model of each device you requested for driver:
Audio: ADI AC'97 2001
Wireless LAN: Broadcom 54g MaxPerformance 802.11g
Video: ATI Radeon IGP 320M
As for the network card, I see from our records that several make and
models of wireless card having the same specifications come with the
your eMachines computer. To know the make and model of the wireless
card, you may verify this under the Device Manager.
1) Click on "Start".
2) Click on "Control Panel".
3) Double-click on the "System" icon. (Make sure you are in classic
view in Control Panel.)
4) Click on the "Hardware" tab.
5) Click on the "Device Manager" button.
6) Click on the "+" next to the Network Adapters section.
7) Take down the list network adapter installed.
///
So it is semi-helpful. But it gives some clues.
If anyone has the restore disks please let me know.

If anyone needs the restore cd's for the M2350, feel free to contact me. I've got them due to a mistake made by Best Buy. I bought the last M2105 that particular store had for $500 flat (it had been on sale for $700 but they didn't have any more so I got the display unit for less) and they included the wrong restore disks. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I recently went to restore my laptop. Worse, I bought it a year ago and I don't have a warranty anymore, or the receipt for that matter. I'm currently on a hunt to find the correct drivers for this laptop, since I'm going insane trying to get everything to work, especially the audio. [xx(] However, since I've got the recovery disks for the M2350, I feel the need to offer up the data to anyone who needs it. Maybe I'll find someone similarly kind who has the recovery disks for the M2105. [:I]
EDIT 06/15: I got a torrent going for the three recovery disks. So anyone who needs the recovery disks for the M2350, I'll try to seed these files as long as possible for you all.
EDIT 6/18: I'll be seeding the torrent for the M2350 recovery disks all weekend then giving my computer a break for the rest of the week. Grab them while you can because it's unlikely that I'll be seeding this file again until the next weekend.
EDIT 7/19: I am no longer mantaining the torrent for the M2350 recovery disks. I'm simply unable to continue leaving my computer on for days at a time in extremely hot weather inside a room with no air conditioning. That's practically asking for my computer to die. I'll try to find alternate methods to help people get the recovery disks but I'm not sure what else I can do. If anyone can think of something to help, please send me an email. At the moment all I can do is provide the file for the third recovery disk which contains all the driver files. That should be more than enough help, I think. Please email me for information on how to get that file since I don't want to post the link to it anywhere on the web. Sorry for any inconvenience. -
Sir: I regret having to use this form to contact you regarding the recovery disk of the emachines m2350. I found your post on Notebook Review offering to seed it for a weekend. It is months past that and I am hoping you would be willing to seed it again for a few days. My emachines installation failed and the 2nd recovery disk is scratched beyond repair. I am unable to obtain a new one because they are (emachines) out of stock! Completed disgusted and concerned for my existing data I looked to the web and saw your post. Is there any chance you would be willing to seed again your copy of the 2nd recovery disk for the emachines m2350? Thanks for your consideration and good luck with your writing. Hello Guys:
Well , I was reading a your :hp: messages posted about the M2350, I'm in the US temporary for training and one of the guys that works here have the Same emachine model, he lost all the CD´s that came with the Laptop, and all his laptop was full of Spy ware & all kind of Viruses, so I offer myself to help him, first of All it was the first time in my life that I see this kind of Laptops. what a ****!!..... so I try to repaired it but It was a Mess so I went to best buy and purchase the XP home edition with SP2, an installed the software on the Laptop, when it finished I noticed that, modem, wireless, LAN, Video card, wasn't working..... so I went to the E-machines home page and in support I only found that the only driver that Works fine was the Wireless driver, as you say I download all kind of drivers for the ATI IGP 320M but they just don't work, so I went to the control panel-->system, then--->hardware ---->Device Manager then I select the video card went to properties, and y choose manually one of the default drivers for Ati that comes with XP SP2 (Radeon Mobile) and it Works!!
For the internal LAN driver I found one that works in the emachines web page. http://www.emachines.com/support/product_support.html?cat=notebook&subcat=M-Series&model=M5305
and finally.... the modem... I try so hard to found one that woks but.... I have no luck ... so I decided to open The Laptop and look for the Processor in the Modem card I found that it is HAMR5603 so I look for a driver that work with that processor number and ..... I found one that Works here is the link..
