    Lower than 800MHz on battery?

    After running my M6805 in 1.8GHz on battery for a few days, I found that battery life is way more important to me than performance. I just wonder if it is possible to lower the CPU speed to <800MHz when it is on battery? Thanks.

    I'm not totally sure about the AMD processor and adjusting the speed, a couple of suggestions though is to reduce the screen brightness to as low as you can stand and also turn off wi-fi if you are not using it.
