most likely overheating
download HW monitor and check your temps
also Clean it out with compressed air -
Have you check your power connections as well as your temperatures. It may be that you have a loose battery/ac connection or your laptop is overheating. It is more than likely a temperature issue. Check using HWMonitor, SpeedFan, or Everest. Check the temperatures at start up, under load, and hopefully right before a shutdown. You may also want to edit your post as this is an all audience forum. GL

Hmm.. I already have speedfan.
Speedfan only recognizes the cpu. and It's usually around 40c
I'll try and look at the speedfan next time I dotdotdot, but it's not quite as arousing...
I just put in a stick of ram, and it's accually pretty clean inside. I didn't have a can of compressed air, so I used a swiffer duster thingy to get any dust off the fans and those black thingys on the motherboard. -
the vents and fans is where the dust will clog up.
and SpeedFan sucks for notebooks (its great for desktops mainly).

also try orthos and if your laptop shuts off let us know -
eMachines M6805
Orthos did nothing.
I've got nothing to boot with for memtest86 -
did you test CPU and ram or just CPU?
please download HWmonitor and post pics -
Hmm.
Did memory diagnostic(Windows 7)
It told me I have a memory problem. That's about it. -
take out the newest piece of ram and then run again
you probably got a faulty piece of RAM -
I can't be bothered to look around for a screwdriver...
It's 4AM anyways, people are sleeping.
