    Remove the four screws on the bottom backside then firmly push on the hinge covers backside , they will lift a little then open lid further and carefully work the emachines logoed cover with power button up(carefull the small ribon cable)
    set on bottom lip of screen and you will see the three? screws that hold the top of the keyboard. remove them lift from back (slight wiggle should do it) there is a ribbon cable near the touch pad be gentle
