Has anyone removed those cummy stickers at the bottom of the display panel and to the left of the touch pad? Do they peel off easily or does it leave an ugly mess? I realize this is a rather frivolous concern but I hate these stickers. I don't mind the little "badges" on the right of the touch pad but the other ones are annoying to me. Thanks all.

[ :D]Thanks so much for your help mab45, I just removed those nasty little stickers. As you said they peeled off very easily and now I can move on with my life. Now if the hinges don't bust I'll be able to sleep at night.

Yeah, I just peeled off all the stickers on my new Fujitsu. I had some residue, but it rubbed off fine. Sticker removal needs to happen early though, or the notebook will wear around them and it will look silly once they're off.

I'm sorry to revive such a long dead thread but what do you mean Brian by the notebook "wearing" around the stickers? Can't you just easily remove the stickers the day you get the computer just as two years later?

lol, nothing wrong with reviving dead threads. I have a MX7515 that I purchased 4 months ago, and I finally removed some of the stickers yesterday. He is right, the laptop almost looked "worn" around where the sticker used to be, but it wasn't permanent (at least not for me). I have been rubbing it every so often with my fingers, and the "worn" area is already starting to blend.

    BUMP

sorry guys, but i had to bump....majorly. I registered just now just to reply to you guys to say thanks for the info :D

I had always worried bout these stickers, i bought the laptop back in feb. it is now september. I always thought removing the stickers would leave some junk, and as most stickers on other products, it never peels off good. But after reading that it peels off easily, i just did it and voila :D and yea u can tell where its worn out a bit, cuz its all new and shiny where the sticker used to be, but not for long im sure ....but yea thanks guys :D if u even still use this forum.....
