    When I start up my computer it sits there and spins and my hard drive spins all the while.

    I can't click on it or right click on it for any information. Then it just goes away.

    Any body know what it is?

    nice, it's a slice of DNA [ :)]

    when it's running go to Start > Run > type in "msconfig" then look on the "startup" tab to see if you can find a startup process that you don't recognize or looks out of place.

    By looking at the icon I don't know what this program is, looks like it might be related to some biology related application ? beats me though.
