    Cracked m6809 Hinge FIXED!!!

    Just got my m6809 back after only one week away! Fabulous service and the fix looks like new. I even got an AC adapter back with it, so now I have two, one for work and one for home.

    Though all this is great, I can't help but think that the story would be somewhat different were it not for the pressure from this board...

    For all of you who are now getting your laptops repaired, please let us know if the hinge covers crack again. According to eMachines, the hinge crack was due to a manufacturing defect that is in the process of being corrected. Hopefully, the new lcd shells that are now being installed are without this defect.
