I just bought a used M6805. There is of course some warranty Work. Cracked Hinges, and loose battery and right mouse click button isn't working. All of which is going to be fixed under warranty. Has anyone else had the hinges repaired under warranty and if so does that fix the problems for good or is it a cosmetic repair? Also I was wondering has anyone tried loading Windows Media Center Edition on one of these Emachine M68xx series yet ? I have overclocked mine to 2118mhz and it ROCKS!!! I have the Video to 432/222 and the CPU to 2118 and I am Dhrystoning 9000!!! and Whetstoning 7000!!!! OMG this was faster than the Desktop AMD 64 3200+ out of the crate (before I overclocked it of course) but even overclocked that Desktop BARELY was faster than this note! Also I reloaded XP Pro and didn't load the POWERNOW! software. Is there a problem with this beyond the power consumption ?

I don't own an eMach, but I know several people here have had hinges replaced. There's actually a very lengthy thread on the topic, you might want to search that.
