Do the m68xx allow booting from an external usb drive? I have an external drive that I want to install linux on and run it, either gentoo or mandrake. Has anyone installed either of these on an external usb drive and got it to boot from it? Thanks.

Have you found out if this could be done?

Just scavenge an old laptop hard disk and trying out Linux. Don't want to keep swapping HD or do a dual boot on my M6809 HD... just in case something really screws up!
