On top of $100 manufacturer rebate. Those who plan to buy it soon, it may be the good time to get extra $150 off.

Is the cost 1400 dollars after rebates?

Is this the cheapest this computer has sold for?

I am thinking about buying one... but i dont want to see it on sale at office max for 999 in a few weeks.

See the other topic with the approximate price you have to pay - taxes may vary. As to the cheapest or not. I called JR with the question if they are going to offer M6809 soon and a guy told me that he did not know. So, I do not know either, but looks like currently BB has an exclusive right as a reseller of new M6809s, and also the guys from BB say it is currently the best-selling notebook out there.

Correct me if I am wrong and there are other resellers out there with better price.

I searched long and hard two weeks ago when I bought mine. BB is (currently) the only place that sells them. There weren't even any on eBay. [ :D]

I don't see how a notebook this loaded could get any cheaper. In fact, as word gets out about it I keep expecting to see the price rise with the demand.
