Nope, the M6811 has a Mobile Athlon 64 3400+ but the suprisingly quickely replaced M6809 had a 3200+.

    Acer Travelmate 8006LMi
    Intel Pentium M 755 2.0GHz
    512Mb PC2700 RAM
    80GB 5400RPM HD
4x Super Multi Write Plus (DVD+/-RW) Drive
    15.0" SXGA+ TFT LCD
ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 128Mb DDR GPU
Intel 802.11b/g WLAN, Bluetooth, Gigabit LAN, V.92 Modem

The actual computers are exactly the same except for the processor 3200+ vs 3400+. Both are the mobile Athlon 64 versions, not the DTRs. Every other piece of hardware contained within is EXACTLY the same (DVD+-RW, 80 gb hard drive, ATI MR 9600, 15.4" widescreen, etc.).

I would think that the naming process is to avoid any consumer confusion between the two. Such quick replacements are commonplace in the cutthroat computer market.
