Does the 6809 need the BIOS upgrade to the 6811 version for Win Xp SP2 to work properly?????

It did for me. After I installed SP2, the Fn keys (such as brightness control) would freeze up the computer. I flashed the BIOS and had no problems after that.

Where do you download the bios upgrades for these machines? I have the 6810.

Thanks for the hindsight. The BIOS upgrades aren't official but work well. Someone uploaded their BIOS from their 6811 and it seems to backwards compatible with the entire 68xx series.
