    5400 or 4200... I got the Hitachi...

    I got the Hitachi in my computer... is this the 5400 or the 4200 hard drive... I heard some had a 5400.. is this one of them?

    Hitachi makes drives in both speeds. It's safe to assume it's 4200 though unl3ss specified by the manufacturer, which in the eMachines case it is not.

    If you go into hardware manager you can see the drive model number. You can either post it here and I will tell you or you can type the number in yahoo or google and you will be able to find it.
