Is this the memory chip I would need for low memory?

How hard is it to install laptop memory?
Any help would be great. Also, the people who have put the 1gb chip in, where did you order it from?
thanks,

I believe choice #1, I'm pretty sure Apple certified memory isn't combatible with eMachines. Non of the eMachine's memory offered on their site have anything about low heat/low power modules. I'm new to the 6809 myself so this is only my 2 cents worth.
Ok went and double shecked that site, and I'm pretty sure now option #1, the 6809 uses the same type modules as the 6805,6807 and this are the specs that come up when selecting either of these models in the lower RAM size 512mb, the 1GB size isn't linked to these models because of a flaw on the site. -
I bought this one. Matches the existing memory. Works great so far!
