My laptop (Inspiron N7010) does not have a mini PCI-e slot or a ExpressCard slot. However, I really want to boost my laptop for gaming with an eGPU. I searched around and found an ExpressCard Adapter that converted USB to ExpressCard. If I used this adapter with a DIY eGPU, would that build work?

No, the bandwidth of USB is not large enough to support gaming like that.

Alright, so it's basically impossible to use get an eGPU working on my laptop?

Bandwidth is fine, but USB doesn't have the PCIe lanes to connect a GPU to your laptop.
