Hi everyone, I just made an account so I am completely new to these forums. This website looks very helpful for what i'm trying to figure out. As you can tell with my title, I just discovered that my laptop can be a gaming beast once again. I currently own a Vaio F Series VPCF126FM laptop. It is good for gaming but I want to stay current with new games and I play SWTOR so I wish to max that out without buying a desktop. I did read the guide on this forum on how to create this sort of desktop gpu add on but I will admit that I am still somewhat confused on how to build this sort of add on without spending the bucks on a ViDock 4 or 4 plus. I really want to do this whilst on a budget. I can provide any information needed with compatibility or my pc specs. I just want to know what I will need exactly and what type of gpu should I really get for this. I'm excited for this and hope I'm not treated like too much of a newbie because I understand the DIY eGPU guide is really clear but I'm not one of those people that learn everything from a guide. If that makes any sense.

    Thanks!
