    Hello,

I've got a Problem with my eGPU set, which consists of a GTX 570, a 500W PSU and the PE4L 1.5 adapter. It works quite well when not setting the Speed to Gen2. Its very laggy, though. The bad Thing is, I cannot set it up to work 1.2. Everytime I boot into Windows, I get bluescreens, blackscreens or the Notebook just freezes. Setup 1.x didn't help. I tried every compaction method, hot reset, forcing gen2, but it seems my Notebook does not want it.
My OS is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, the latest stable nvidia Drivers are installed.
    Here the System specs:
    i5 3340m / HD 4000 / 8GB DDR3 1600MHz / 180GB SSD

I hope I cand find help here, 'cause I'm about to throw my Notebook out of the Windows and toss some explosives on it :p

    Thanks in advance!

    Greetings,
    Uftherr

P.S. Sorry for the sometimes weird use of capital letters, but the Internet Explorer feels like Auto correcting everything... I have no idea how to turn off that Thing.

Dude stop before you break your system!
The PE4L1.5 is clearly marked GEN1, you need a PE4L 2.1b to have obtain GEN2. You should abandon this thread and join us at the official eGPU forum: google eGPU 2.0 techinferno. Cheers!
