I'm trying to set up a PE4L 1.5a + Antec 450W ATX power supply + GTS 450. The laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad T420s running Win7. The PE4L is connected to the power supply via a molex->floppy power adapter.

Whenever I power up the PE4L, the video card only runs at low fan speed, and only seems to be getting power from the power supply's 6-pin connector (fan speed doesn't seem to change whether or not the card is plugged into the PE4L). I've tried a variety of combinations of switches/jumpers on the PE4L and had no luck. If I connect the PE4L to the laptop, nothing is detected.

On a few attempts I had the video card plugged in incorrectly to the PCI-E slot (don't ask...) -- is it possible the PE4L and/or video card is now shot? Or could there be some other explanation?

    Thanks for the help!
