    Hello everybody,

Firstly, I want to point out how amazed I am of the whole "DIY eGPU" undertake. Big thanks to everybody involved!

I have a couple of questions concerning my Lenovo T60 laptop (model 2007-FUG / specifications: Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83GHz, ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 HM, Windows XP Pro) and DIY eGPU.

It is a laptop from around 2006 and has ExpressCard slot.

    1. What would be best "ExpressCard to PCIe adapter" for me? There are so many models from many companies, and I am not sure which one would be give optimal bandwidth for this laptop.

    2. What would be optimal video card to use? I am asking because I heard that you could easily be throwing your money by putting in a very powerful vga card when you are bottlenecked by the ExpressCard slot.

    3. Is it possible to use this under Windows XP SP3? Upgrading to Windows 7 or Vista is not option for me.

    4. I have some soldering skills so I must ask: What is the most reliable/up to date step-by-step guide to make your own "ExpressCard to PCIe adapter"? I saw some guides but they are kind of confusing because I still don't know which is the right for my laptop.

    5. Can DIY eGPU be used without an additional monitor? I am asking because I saw that maybe this trick only works if you have Intel integrated card.

Thank you once more and congratulations on this wonderful project!
