This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Here is my eGPU setup for my Dell Inspiron 1545. It was a very easy setup. I did not have to modify anything on my laptop. I just plugged everything in, installed some drivers and it worked marvelously. The adapter uses an ExpressCard interface rather than the mini PCIE. Everything (except for the desktop monitor) fits into my backpack so I can take this with me anywhere.
