If not, what should i acquire to achieve it?
I want to use the eGPU for GPU rendering with iRay, so i think i need to have it in a x2 port.
Cheers.

Looking at your picture, I can see that you bought an PE4H which only support 1x bandwith if you use 1 lane (your EC2C - Expresscard-adapter). In order to reach 2x bandwith you would have to use 2 lanes. This could be done by using 1x Expresscardslot (EC2C) + 1x minicard-slot (PM3N) OR by using 2x minicard-slots (2x PM3N).
However if you have a Sandybridge or newer CPU then your laptop should support 2x bandwith on a single port. Then it would be more convinient to buy a PE4L 2.1b which supports 2x bandwith on a single lane! -
Cheers and thanks
Can i achieve PCIe x2 with what you can see in the picture?
