    Dell, Asus or Lenovo?
    Desktop PC

Which of them is the best?

Don't advise me to build my PC

This is my first PC I ever built two years ago,

lot of problems and now giving out burning smell

    while keeping to work

    I don't understand

Given how most towers are built in the same way (simple steel/plastic box) and how desktops don't usually experience any sort of physical damage (since you sit them down in a spot and don't move it throughout its life), they're all basically equal when it comes to durability.

This is about good as finding a "needle in haystack" since there is system comparison to be had how would one expect other to know what to say?

This is about illogical as asking to not advise to build your own PC. User come for help or don't.

Sounds like your environment has far more dust particles then you expected and those are clogging the cooling system causing the burning smell. Unless you clean the system every year expect dirt/dust buildup in the system and fans.

It's all because of the dust particles clogging the cooling system???

I have doubt because I had a Dell Inspiron desktop PC 12 years ago which had been used for 7-8 years and I NEVER cleaned any dust and NEVER found any smell.

Is it because brand desktop has a better cable mangaement ....? or if I have made any mistakes in my DIY PC so that it gives problems

Some said it could be the failing PSU.

However, my system is still working. (I am not sure but at least I can log into windows 10 now and create a thread here)

Yes, but I see no reason getting an Alienware because I do not play games and starting price is far more expensive than Dell branded crappy pieces.

I 'll look for Asus than. Looks like they are using more standard motherboards with more stable components.

The XPS Desktops by Dell start at $699, and the Alienware Aurora's start at $799 (but offer much better hardware).

Well, it's your decision. But they do offer a better "bang for your buck." I highly recommend building your own, though.

    Good luck.

Instead of just going off about building a desktop which he clearly doesn't want to do just find out his needs kind off like the way people get recommended laptops on this forum.... :D

    1) What is your budget?

    2) What size of desktop?

    a. ATX - big
    b. mATX - medium
    c. Mini itx - smaa

    3) Where will you buying this desktop? You can select the flag of your country as an indicator.

    4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

    a. Like:
    b. Dislike:

    5) Would you consider desktops that are refurbished/redistributed?

    6) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this desktop?

    7) Will you be taking the desktop with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?

    8) Will you be playing games on your desktop? If so, please state which games or types of games?

    9) Would you prefer to see the desktop's you're considering before purchasing it or buying a desktop on-line without seeing it is OK?

    10) What OS do you prefer? Windows (Windows 7 / 8), Mac OS, Linux, etc.

    Build Quality and Design

    11) Are the desktop's looks and stylishness important to you?

    12) When are you buying this desktop?

    13) How long do you want this desktop to last?

    Desktop Components

    14) How much hard drive space do you need? Do you want a SSD drive?

    15) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a DVD Burner, Blu-ray Reader or Blu-Ray Burner?

Lot of things could be going wrong with your first PC build. My inclination would be to look at the PSU to see if it was properly specked out. In my experience the PSU is the first thing I look at when I smell something burning on a DIY PC.

As for recomendations. They are all going to have similar build quality at their respective price points. If your on a tight budget maybe look at the dell outlets.
