The batteries needed to be replaced on this keyboard. When I removed them one of the batteries had leaked so I attempted to open the keyboard to clean the battery compartment. I could not get it to pen all the way.

I replaced the batteries. The "1", "W", "X". and "P" keys do not work.

I uninstalled the keyboard drivers. No luck.

This keyboard is part of a 24-n020qe Desktop.

How old is the keyboard and any leaks means forget the keyboard. That leak can do damage you can't see unless you disassemble the keyboard to clean out the leak. Have you tried another cored keyboard to see if those same keys work or not - that is the best way to test keyboard failures.
