Hello, quick question. I have a AMD Radeon 5900 series gpu in my 2010 AlienwareAroura desktop. I've upgraded the memory/ssd since then and the computer is still running pretty well. I was interested in upgrading the GPU to a GTX 1070.

I'm a noob when it comes to upgrading so wanted to make sure that I would be able to do this? It looks like th power draw is similar/better but not 100% if the connectors will be compatible. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It should be fine.. Your desktop will require a 8 pin power connector which should be there since the 5900 series cards ate a lot of power...
