Hope this is the right forum. Does anyone know if the ASUS MB169C+ is compatible with USB 3.0?
In a video about the ASUS MB169C+, the ASUS Representative clearly said the monitor would work with USB 3.0 or USB C. I cannot confirm this, and I'm reading contradictory info from other sites where it is ONLY USB C. The video link is below

    Does anyone know?

No, MB169C+ cannot work with USB3.0 type A, even with a displayLink video adapter..
type c alt mode is just too young and there is only a few devices directly support it.
if you're looking for a portable monitor supports USB3.0, you should consider MB169B+ instead
