    Dell Vostro 1700 screen very dark

    Does anyone know why this has happened? It looks like it is in sleep mode but not.

    The graphics card is updated fully so am lost at what the problem might be.

    Any help would be great as it is very hard to see the screen atm

    Does the manual brightness adjustement still work ( FN-Key + arrow up/arrow down)?
