    Hiya,

I am trying to upgrade the drivers on my Dell Vostro 1500 for my Nvidia 8600m GT. I have tried from the Nvidia site and laptopvideo2go.com and both places the first time I try it just says that it cannot find the drivers required and then vista comes and says to retry setup with correct settings ( :S ) and it gives the error that it's designed for 32 bit windows which I do not have... Although I am running 32 bit vista... to be sure I tried a 64 bit driver and again to no avail...

I have tried installing over the Dell drivers and afresh after uninstalling drivers. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Cheers

Have you been using the Modded INF that comes with the driver on LaptopVideo2Go?

So when you download the driver off the LaptopVideo2Go forums (try a stable one ex. 169.09 or 169.28), there's a link right next to the driver download that says "Modded INF". Download the driver, then extract the files into a folder on your desktop or whereever. Download the Modded INF and drag the file into the driver folder and replace the INF that's already inside it. Now you should be able to install the driver without problems.
