    Hey folks....

I am completely pissed off at Dell!!!!! Reasons prices are reduced in US and increased in India simultaneously.... I dont see any logic....

I decided to go wid Vostro 1500, the prices were INR. 45650/-
But i could not proceed placing the Order, some ****ty prob wid my Credit card...
I checked the prices after a week.. it was increased to INR. 47650/-
    I was shocked...!!!
Today i finally wanted to place a order (i.e after a week) the prices are further increased to INR. 48514/-

I i'm so dumbstruck now...!! How i can proceed if the prices are flying at this rate... diff of nearly $70 in 2 weeks time.....

So wat do u folks suggest... Should i wait till the prices come or till it get stabalised... Or place a order right away....

Are there any chances of prices coming down.... ???

The best thing to do in this situation is call up their toll free number and talk to couple of sales agent and find what is the best they can offer in terms of price and components for you... Try to bring down the price as much as possible .

I have heard them come down to a good price something like 4k less than the original price...

As far as the waiting is concerned, as my sales agent said, you never know when the price would go down or when it will go up, he said that dell was concentrating on margins this quarter and would not be lessening the prices any time soon.

Yippeee.... they brought down the prices to INR. 47650/-
that too inclusive of installation charges.... earlier that was extra.... :)
So effectively some INR 2000/- saved....
