So when i was purchasing the vostro 1500 i upgraded my battery from the 56 WHr 6-cell to the 85 WHr 9 Cell... now is there a way for me to check and make sure that i have this on my laptop??? Because i just used my laptop for about 3 and half hours fully charged and it's pretty much run out already... Or does anyone know how long the 85WHr 9 cell would estimately last??

Sounds about right. Depends on your brightness settings, amongst others, though.

You can tell visually if your battery sticks out of the back of your notebook by about an inch or so. If it does, you probably have the 9 cell.

9W battery on the 1500 is the better option of the two, don't think there's anything else that will fit the Vostro.
