    I have a question

I ordered a Vostro 1500 with 8600M GT video card that stated 256MB but when i check in display properties it says 512MB instead.

My question is, It is error or I got freebie?

Is there another way to check for accurate card ram memory?

    Thanks

256 is dedicated, and another 256 is turbo which is virtual memory pulled from your system ram. it is a 256 mb card.
