Hey guys, been having some trouble with my computer not shutting down after it decided to do one of those automatic updates while I was in the shower or something. I've had this Dell 1400 since October 07 and have been having this error for a few weeks now. It normally happens when I tell it to shut down.

The error troubleshooting thing takes me to this:

    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=943899

My version of vista is 32-bit.

I tried downloading the update as well as running the windows update program. The update listed on that link doesn't work for my system and the windows update program via the windows security tab says I'm fully updated.

    Any ideas?
