    Hi,

Don't know if anyone can help me with this problem, but I'll ask anyway.

I have my laptop (Vostro 1500) connected to my sony hdtv to watch videos.
Earlier today I accidently started a game while viewing my laptop on my hdtv, and it seems that the game was set to start in a resolution my tv didn't like and reset back to the laptop screen.

Now whenever I try and change to my tv it says "format unsupported - please adjust your pc settings"

Anyone know how I can fix this problem? Have I messed up my tv, or the laptop?

if you haven't already, i would recommend trying to check your resolution?

are you mirroring or extending desktop?

i don't think your TV would get messed up.
