    tru bright rocks IMHO
so much clearer it offsets the poor visability in the sun colors are richer,
tge only downside is luck of the draw on lcd manufacturers lg,samsung, auo etc. some are better than others on my XPS M1210 auo rocks samsung is junk on the E1405 inspiron the opposite is true on others lg is best some of the lcds the viewing angle is horrid also but this is true with matte also it kinda breaks down to personal preferance the best thing to do is visit a local DELL store or kiosk and look at both

It all depends on your preference. You will get answer both ways. If you have any sort of eye problems I would recommend the regular WXGA. If you are looking for more desktop space then go with the UltraSharp. The UltraSharp fonts are really small and that is why I asked about your vision.

If you are talking about the TrueBrite option then I would say no because of the glare. I really like other manufacturers TrueBrite but the Dells have way to much glare. Search the forms you will finds lots of threads.

What booger said is right. My eyes aren't the best, but I don't always want to wear my glasses when I'm working on my computer. So I chose the 1440x900 display and have no problems to read everything without glasses. I think, at the 1900x1200 resolution, everything must be very small, so even for one with good eyes, this may not be comfortable when you work on the computer for a longer time.

The other difference is the glossy surface of the Tru Bright display, which I don't like much, but others seem to be happy with it.
