Hey guys, I was wondering, I just got through talking to Dell and they were helping me replace a part on my laptop and i cut myself open on a component i was replacing. They issued me a new system but I dont feel comfortable sending back the bloody system. Any advice on this?

I would be upfront and honest with them. What really can they do?

It wasn't a cup full or anything but it was enough to notice. I would rather not discuss my medical history but let's just say I don't feel comfortable with anyone touching the system or those parts. Is there a health risk policy or something?

Talk to them about it. I'm sure they have some sort of policy for this.

don't clean it, because the blood will still remain, but now nobody will ever be able to see it and that is dangerous.

put it in a sealed bag, tell dell about it, and if they aren't happy to take it back then destroy that/(those) particular part/(s)

which component is it? you can throw away a hard drive or the RAM and then replace it with a new one, and send it back to Dell...

have you spoken to dell about it yet?

Yeah if you feel it could put someone else at risk definitely call them about it. While I'll doubt they would have information about this, have them at least make a note of it.
