The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi all, first post on here :D

    Is this still supported? I've been reading around and it seems that it's now been superceeded by Dell Support Center, the trouble is Dell Support Center is a right ball ache.

    My previous HP laptop just used to automatically download updates specific to my Notebook/Laptop for me.

    I've come across the Dell Support application that states that it monitors Drivers on your computer and automatically updates them to the latest version as necessary - exactly what I am looking for, no hassle updates!

    Even if it's no longer supported does it still work and if so what was the final version to be released.

    I have a Dell Inspiron 1720.
