Dell Support?!?!

Who should I contact if I need a new motherboard? I waiting forever for Dell Tech Support, the lady said I needed Dell Customer Support, transferred me to that chat area and now I've been waiting for 20 minutes! Does anybody have a direct number for somebody I can speak to!

The woman said I should contact customer care, not technical support. Did you just want to avoid my issue? Should I call the XPS tech support number listed? I have a pretty much dead XPS M1330 and nobody at Dell is helping!

 

You dont tell them you need a new motherboard unless you are buying it.

They need to send a tech out to determine that, or you send your laptop to them to determine that.

Call and tell them you have a problem with your laptop and go from there.

Why can't you say that politely?

 

Well, got a hold of the same XPS_Jody_140258. Not the nicest of people, I could even tell via chatting in Dell's chat client. She sent me off to customer care the first time. She is having me do the extended diagnostics to find an error code and "get back to them." Is this legit or did she want to get rid of me again?

My issue with the motherboard and video seems quite legit. I even reformatted and clean installed, still the same problem. Messed around with different video drivers, still the same problem. I get those crazy vertical lines that turn my entire screen white, then fades to black. Sometimes, my desktop turns this greenish / yellowish color and freezes. Any thoughts? I will be calling this time around, whenever this test ends...
