    Hi all guys. I should repair my old laptop to a new mainboard, cpu and ram.
    Studio 1558 mainboard should perfectly fit my 1555 laptop, can someone confirm what is the exact mainboard code to install an i7 740QM cpu? CN-04DKNR mainboard is the right one?

    Edit: found and ordered a combo mainboard+cpu+heatsink tested from China for a decent price :D

    Hi! I've finally received the mainboard+cpu+heatsink bundle and I've installed everything on my laptop with a clean windows 7 setup.
    This bundle arrived with near zero presence of thermal paste.... No problem I cleaned and used IC 24Carat and Gelid GP Extreme pad (for vga memory).
    The mainboard is running well but one connector is damaged and completely lacks the touchpad connector! I should find and solder a new one.....
    I can't remember what was installed on my original Studio 1555 I'll post the exact specs in a couple of days ;)
