I'm getting a new laptop soon, which one should I get ?? Does the DDR2 ram make any differences to DDR3?

That Studio 1555 you have shown is more powerful than the Studio XPS 1640, but the 1640 is more sturdy. What do you intend to use this laptop for?
Also, there is virtually zero noticeable difference between DDR2 and DDR3. -
I intend to use laptop for Work,School and multimedia.
Is it heavy for me to carry around it my bag.. -
I carry my Studio 1555 around from class to class every day; it's pretty comfortable. The Studio XPS 16 is the better machine, but it is very slightly heavier.
-
Also consider this: the edge-to-edge display of the SXPS is very glossy. This may, or may not bother you.
-
what is the price difference.
-
its reallyreally cheap in my place ( vietnam )
the Studio 1555 is 1150$ and Studio XPS 16 1050$ -
can't u just upgrade the cpu with the price difference and get the xps
i luv mine
altho it is sometime annoying with the glass screen in daylight -
xps is heavy.. and hot..
-
The difference in weight is less than a pound (< 400g)
How does the HD4570 cope with games?
(although the HD3670 isn't as good as the HD4670 ) -
oh well, the Studio xps gets quite hot,i tried my friend's one ,it got incredibly hot on startup...
The GPU is alright, mentioned of games you can go on youtube and check it out.
