Dell Studio Topo pattern gone?

Hi, I recently got my fingerprint reader replaced, and to do this, they had to give me a whole new palm rest, but I just noticed, the new one doesn't have the topo pattern, which I liked. Is this normal? The touchpad is also different, not the same texture, which I preferred.

 

I have the topo pattern on mine that I received a couple of days ago. I wish it was all over the entire gray areas of the case and a lot more densely drawn. I like it.

 

Maybe you should've gotten it in a graphite design. Lol.

I wish they would give an option for interior (palm rest) personalization.

I like the topo pattern. For a while the graphite gray was not available, and now that it is, the interior matching pattern is gone.

An option for interior customization would have been ideal.

So the Question is: Is the Dell Studio 15 being shipped with the topo design (or spilled milk as some have said) on the Palm Rest?

Please post if you have received your laptop as from January 01, 09 to avoid any confusion. Initially the design was there and some people have reported that it has been removed and others have reported it is still there.

Also state which country you are in. Maybe it is different countrywise.

Mine was ordered on December 13th, and arrived December 31st. The pattern is on the lid, it is not on the palm rest.
