Hi guys, i got a refurbished Dell Studio 1749 a few days ago and its a really nice laptop but my dvd/cd eject button doesnt work on the touch sensitive panel and it doesnt work either from the keyboard button,

i have to go to start/my-computer and right click the dvd icon to manually eject the dvd or cd which ever is inside it at the time.

Has anyone any idea whats the deal with this?

By the way i have 3 years NBD warranty with onsite support with the laptop.

    Thanks

Do you have QuickSet application installed? Maybe new installation or reinstallation of that could help.
