    Thought I might let you guys know, but Dell no longer offers the Dell Studio 17 with the ATI Video Card on any of it's CTO models anymore.

    Anyone know something???

    Is Dell finally going Montevina? (It only took them forever!)

    I thought they were just temporarily out of stock. They remove items like the back lit keyboard from time to time when they run out before a new shipment arrives.

    I go to Dell.com everyday and check on the Studio 15/17. If a component is out of stock, it still stays online, but shipment is delayed.

    Then I guess you noticed 3-4 weeks ago when the video card was missing from the Studio 15 for a couple of days. But then they added it back.

    Hmm, didn't notice for the Dell Studio 15, I check the 17 most of the time. But darn, Dell, UPDATE TO MONTEVINA! YOU ARE STILL BEHIND EVERYONE ELSE!!!

    who cares about montevina in mainstream notebooks.
    it makes no diference at all.
    as bad as dell is now, its still the best computer maker in the world,
    what a shame!
